    hi guys,

This is my first new pc in over 4 years and as such I am totally behind the times. So I was wondering if you guys could please give some advice. So I've built my pc:

    i5 750
    4 x 2GB F3-16000CL9D-4GBRH 2000MHz Ripjaws
    Asus P7P55D (standard version)

and the good news is its all up and running. no dreaded cold boot problems. I've set the AI Tweaker to XMP, this has set all the ram and multiplier settings correctly, its reads 200Mhz BCLK and 14 multiplier. I think ram voltage was 1.60v. Everything else was set to Auto.

I want to now test the memory with memtest so should i go ahead using the XMP settings or should I manually set the ram settings, multiplier and ram ram voltage?

Also should I increase the ram voltage to 1.65v?

I also noticed the command rate was set to 3T by XMP? should this be set to 2T?

And should i test the ram in pairs or all four sticks at the same time?

    thanks

XMP should work fine. You can manually set the memory settings as well, but you will need to test for precise settings for 8GB. DRAM Voltage may need 1.65V for 8GB. Command Rate may be 3T with 8GB. If you are sure the memory themselves are good, simply test all four to find the ideal voltages.

    Thank you
