  • Trident F3-16000CL9D-4GBTD questions?

    Memory 2 sets F3-16000CL9D-4GBTD ( 4 sticks 8 GB Total)
    CPU: Intel i7 860 Lynnfield 2.80 GHZ LGA 1156
    MotherBoard: Gigabyte GA-P55-UD5 LGA 1156
Power Supply: Antec TruePower New TP-750 750W Continuous Power

Memtest 86 ver 3.4 for testing

    Current Settings:

    DRAM Frequency : 1333 MHZ
    CL: 7
    tRCD: 7
    tRP: 7
    tRAS:23
    tRC: 31
    tRFC: 74
    Command Rate: 2
    Voltage 1.5V
    Auto everything else

The bios is reporting the Dram Voltage at 1.568 Volt instead of the 1.5 V value.

System is stable at this setting.

What values could I use if I stay at this voltage and frequency?
What values can I use if I change the Dram voltage to 1.6 Volts?

The correct settings for this particular memory package are:

    DRAM Frequency : 2000 MHZ
    CL: 9
    tRCD: 9
    tRP: 9
    tRAS: 27
    Command Rate: 2

    DRAM Voltage - 1.65V

If you would like to stay at DDR3-1333, then simply increase DRAM Voltage slightly, and you can also see if you can tighten the memory timings to 6-7-6-18 or such. In doing so you will be losing quite a bit of speed though, so I would recommend the first settings I listed above.

    Thank you
