I'm fairly certain I have tried that timing. The Gigabyte GA-MA790GPT-UD3H doesn't appear to be able to post with any timings under the 1600 speed. I would love to hear confirmation from someone that they have achieved those timings.

With an AMD X3 710 or 720, it may not be able to run DDR3-1600.

I could not get them to work does not matter what setting i tried!!!! if let the MO on auto then sometime i can get it working but most of the time it reboot after the login password logo of win 7. I can not get it to work at 1333!!! both of my MO, the GA-MA790GPT-UD3H and the GA-MA785GPT-UD3H . Please help before i return 2 set of 4G back to newegg.

hagan, you need to manually set the memory settings properly. Once that is complete, everything should work fine.

As i found out 2 out of 4 stick i got were bad!!!
As soon as i but the other 2 good stick in and with setting of 8-8-8-24-2T and 1.60v or 1.65 v both work fine @ 1600 so i kept 1.60v.

I have owned this same setup as well for 6-8 months now running 4gigs at 8-8-8-24 2T 1.60v 1600mhz and it runs fine. I don't think 8 gigs 4x2gb's can run a these specs on this board. I doubt your other 2 sticks are bad I just believe it's a chipset limitation.
