    okay, heres the problem, cant get the mobo get past d3, i have tried using one stick of ram, tried getting slower ram, all compatible, but does not want to get pass stage d3. any ideas?

    on a side note my setup is:

    AMD Phenom II x4 965 BE process.
    MSI 790FX-GD-70 mobo
    G.Skill F3-12800CL9D-4GB
    (Kingston KVR1333D3N9/1G Doesnt work either)
    Zotac GTX 275 Graphics
    Corsair 750W PSU
    CoolerMaster V8 Fan

      wasn't even able to get the computer to post, so no way i could have the latest bios version, but after searching the web for another hour, i came across this fascinating thread, learning the memory module is in the processor (didnt know that), so took my cpu off and wouldnt u know it, 4 pins were bent. glad i had a REALLY small flathead, bent them back and got the computer working.just put the 4gb of g skill ram in and hope it all works out good.

      thanks anyways for trying to help.

      and i hope this helps anyone else having problems, check the processor for bent/missing pins
