    ASUS P6T Deluxe v2 [Bios 0610] (Newest)
    Intel Core i7 i920 - D0
    F3-16000CL8T-6GBPS
    Coolermaster V-8
    CoolerMaster 1000 case
    1200watt PS CoolMax

I used these settings from another post for the Rampage II Extreme. It does over clock me at 3.6Ghz which is higher than I would like but maybe it has to be this high. I was thinking 3.0 to 3.2 maybe to be safe heat wise. Alot of the voltages are RED as shown in photos.

My temperatures seem a little on the hot side.
    59c = Idle
    85-89c = 100% Prime95

Below are the settings (Last Post) I used in my Bios and photos of my Bios. I had questioned the ?DRAM REF Cycle Time- 74? because when I was set to AUTO it showed 94 I think. I?m not sure this system is running right because I just changed the 9-9-9-24?74 in the Extreme II post to 8-8-8-21?72 and the rest AUTO. Please advice.

Tech?? Can anyone help with this please? I've been through this whole forum looking for the answers. If you need more info let me know.

im no exper but what cpu stepping do you have? is it CO or DO?

also do you have load line calibration enabled? for those speeds even on a CO stepping you could probably get away with lower cpu voltage provided that you enable load line calibration. for 3.6GHZ you should'nt need more then 1.28volts but all cpus are a tad different i suppose.

another thing you can do to lower temps is disable Hyperthreading. me personaly i like seeing 8cores so i dont, but i know hyperthreading makes alot of heat.

as for the 78 refresh cycle time, my memory does that same says it needs a lower number but wont work unless it's avbove 60 (but i have the 1600mhz model)

also here is a great guide for overclocking you can also check with
          http://www.overclock.net/intel-cpus/...7-920-4-a.html

and there is another great thread here at gksill in the forums that pertains to the gigabyte motherboards if i find it again will post it for ya. hope this helps for im no expert know a few things but these are the questions others would ask. hopefully someone with more knowledge of that kit can reply to this.

iv waited 4days on my thread still not a word so they may be busy at the moment.

Thank you for responding! I'm no overclocker but have built many PC's in the last 10 years or so. I wish I would have bought a slower DRR3 like a 1600.

I have my specs all posted in first thread it is an Intel Core i7 i920 - D0

            Load-Line Calibration - Enabled

CPU Voltage - 1.32500v (PINK) near Yellow I can try lower I was using the Bios setup for the Extreme2 with a 920 I assumed I would have to be the same.

I hope a Tech can review these for me.

try to increase QPI voltage to 1.6v and downgrade BCLK frequency to 143 to run DDR3 2000
since memory controller is embeded in CPU, to run DDR3 2000 also depends on CPU
              thanks

Thank you for the reply. It runs DDR3 2000 well now with these settings but sometimes I think it pauses long before starting processes and hangs doing nothing for long periods.

I will try your settings above I'm allready RED in QPI/DRAM Core Voltage - 1.55000v (RED) Is that ok??

I’m not sure this system is running right because I just changed the 9-9-9-24—74 in the Extreme II post to 8-8-8-21—72 and the rest AUTO. What should the DRAM REF Cycle Time be for this set of ram?

Thank you again for posting! Your setup above does not boot.

I used your setup and ram was= 8-8-8-20-4-59-8-6-16-0

I used my old bios above but set
                    AUTO DRAM RAS# cycle time=AUTO 8-8-8-21-6-98-15-8-26-0

Which is correct for for this chipset?

Below is just a reference of what changes you wanted to try verses what I had listed above as my current settings. My current settings are the same as above in my second post but I have changed the AUTO DRAM RAS# cycle time= to "AUTO"

the settings for CPU part depends on your CPU, so it might be different
for the "DRAM REF Cycle Time," we'd recommend you to set at least 88
                        thanks

I have the exact same setup, same motherboard and processor (D0). Although I'm trying to get the Trident version of this memory to run at ~2000MHz...

If anyone could help me that would be awesome. I have tried all the setting from above plus a couple others without any success. What should I change for the DDR3-2000 F3-16000CL9T-6GBTD?

That ram has 9 timings try this, changed to 9,9,9,24

I hope your using a CoolerMaster V-8 or other good
heatsink. The OEM heatsink will over heat at these
core settings if you run a test at 100% proc load.

                            Good luck, hope it helps.

I hope your using a CoolerMaster V-8 or other good
heatsink. The OEM heatsink will over heat at these
core settings if you run a test at 100% proc load.

                              Good luck, hope it helps.

I already adjusted my timings for 9-9-9-24. That is the exact setup I tried before coming to post here. I mean, exact! The RAM runs stable at ~1600 through hours and hours of Memtest86+, so as far as I'm aware I have good modules.

On the memory timings I tried 1, 2 and 3N with no success.
