BIOS settings for F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH on a M4a79xtd evo MOBO

Hi, my mobo auto-sets the timers to 9-9-9-24, i just want to know how to change so it can run at the advertised timings of 7-7-7-21.

Also, can you recommend me a diagnosis tool for DDR3 memory? just want to check if it has errors or not.

Instead of AUTO, simply enter teh timings manually.

tCL - 7
tRCD - 7
tRP - 7
tRAS - 24
Command Rate - 2

Memory Voltage - 1.5V

Memtest is a very good diagnostic tool that you can download for free.

Just a quick doubt, why tRAS at 24 instead of 21 ? ( as advertised in newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231276 )
