ASUS P7P55D deluxe & Missining RAM?

mobo - ASUS P7P55D deluxe BIOS 0707
ram - G.Skill F3-12800CL8D-4GBRM
cpu core i7 860

My BIOS and OP system (Vista Home Premium) both show 3310MB of RAM installed.

I know the mobo takes some RAM but is it the 786 MB that are missing?

Limitation of 32-bit OS. If you're running 64-bit, make sure memory remap feature in bios is enabled...else keep it disabled. In 64-bit, you'll see it all, in 32-bit, 3.2-ish is the limit.

It is 64 bit Vista.

Memory remap is enabled.

In OP system, right click of computer & Properties says 4.0 GB ram, however trying to use readyboost says max is 3310 MB.

Also in BIOS under mem remap it says RAM is 3382 MB.

See page 3-21 of your manual...it's explained there. If it says 4.0 GB installed under Computer | Properties...then you're good to go.
