Settings for F3-12800CL7D-4GBRH in an ASUS M4A79XTD EVO 790X?

I bought two packs of F3-12800CL7D-4GBRH, for a total of 8 GB of RAM.

Going to put them in an ASUS M4A79XTD EVO 790X with a Phenom II x4 955 BE.

I'm not interested in OCing the RAM or CPU at this stage, I'd just like some settings and advice on getting all 8 GB stable and reliable.

Set BIOS settings as follows and your computer should be running smoothly.

AI Overclock Tuner - Manual
DRAM Frequency - 1600

DRAM Controller Configuration (submenu)
DCT Unganged Mode - Enabled
Power Down Enable - Disabled

DRAM Timing/Driving Config. (submenu)
tCL - 7 / 8
tRCD - 7 / 8
tRP - 7 / 8
tRAS - 24

Rest can be AUTO

DRAM Voltage - 1.6V
HT Voltage - 1.4V
NB Voltage - 1.4V

This combination may not be able to operate DDR3-1600 CL7. You will need to check the latest BIOS to see if they made the change for this.

This was working OK at first (CL8, CL7 not available), but I've been getting crashes. Setting everything to auto seems totally stable, but DRAM is only running at 666.6.

Could you suggest settings for DDR-1333 or something similar? I can barely tell the difference between current settings and 1600, so I figure getting it to 1333 and stable would be fine.

Set DRAM Timings to tCL 7 - tRCD 7 - tRP 7 - tRAS 21 for DDR3-1333 and it will be essentially the same as DDR3-1600.
