Is G.Skill F3-2400C11D-16GXM compatible with ASUS Z97-E / usb3.1 board?

Greetings, I have a pc with ASUS Z97-E / usb3.1 chipset and I want to put a G.Skill F3-2400C11D-16GXM (8x2) ram memory. The processor is an intel I5-4460.
Are they compatible?
In ASUS QVL the 4x2 is supported, but the 8x2 does not appear.
The G. Skills verification website is out of date, as neither 4x2 nor 8x2 is listed as compatible. Neither is the Z97-E / usb3.1. Not many of the ram G. Skills that come in the QVL appear either.

I think the discontinued products have been removed from the QVL when the big update of the website happened a while back.

From my own experience I am fairly confident, that the F3-2400C11D-16GXM should work on all of the ASUS Z97 models.
