  • Help with new Ram for a Asus Maximus Hero VI Motherboard

    Hi:

I have a Asus Maximus Hero VI motherboard with a i7-4770K CPU.

I currently am using GSkill RipjawsZ F3-19200CL11Q-16GBZHD (4x4GB DDR3-2400)) and I would like to upgrade the motherboard to 32GB.

I have looked for the 32GB version F3-19200CL11Q-32GBZHD (4x8GB DDR3-2400) but doesn't seem to be available anymore or everyone is out of stock. The reason I picked that model is the 16GB I have installed has worked flawless and would like to keep things working flawless, but want to upgrade to 32 GB.

Does anyone running with the same CPU and Motherboard and having 32GB installed have any recommendations.

Any info or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Mike

High performance and high capacity DDR3 kits are very difficult to find now. Only kit available new is:

Thanks for the info. Just ordered the Ram. I was hoping for DDR3 2400, but this will have to suffice. Many thanks...

Can be overclocked with the proper adjustments, may not have as low timings, but greater bandwidth still an improvement of overall performance. We're here to guide if you need it.
