  • PC3-14900E vs PC3-14900

Looking to populate an HP Z420 workstation and would like to use
    [RipjawsZ] F3-14900CL10Q-32GBZL

The HP Z420 spec say to use 14900E memory (DDR3-1866 unbuffered)

Beside a lot more expensive And the ECC
Is there any other difference between
    PC3-14900E and PC3-14900
Are they interchangeable (AKA can I use non ECC if it used in just a workstation and not a network server?)
In other words (loaded question) Is GSkill memory sufficiently 'error-free' to not need the ECC capability?

That depends on the motherboard, I believe that system requires ECC RAM. I believe DDR3-1866 must be CL13, which we do not offer, so you can try DDR3-1600 CL11 to see if it can be accepted.
