I purchased G.Skill ram from Newegg, and would like to know whether it will be compatible with my motherboard.
PCPartPicker indicated the memory is compatible. However, Newegg has informed me that the memory is not compatible (and I can return it if the package unopened, so I do not wish to open it unless it works for me).
This is what I bought:

The mother board is Asus H97m-Plus.
The Asus page seems to indicate that it will be compatible, but I am concerned that I may be missing something.
Could there be a reason that this memory is compatible, but not ideal, for the motherboard?
