Hello,
I have just purchased 2 x 8 gig RIPJAWS X F3-2133C9D-16GXH as part of my new system build. On testing this new memory it always comes up with errors in MemTest 6.1.0 on the hammer test (13)? I have tried each stick one at a time and in dual channel with the same errors.
I have read in a previous post that you say this test is not accurate and that I should use a previous version that does not contain the hammer test?
But if I run my old ram in the system G.Skill RIPJAWS X F3-12800CL9D 8GBXL (2 x 4 gig) I can run MemTest 6.1.0 and have no errors at all. Even after many hours of testing?
Why does my old ram work fine and my new ram show errors?
Is it because of the row hammer issues?
Asrock Z97 Extreme 6 3.1 UEFI 1.30
I7 4790K
F3-2133C9D-16GXH set as XMP 1 in UEFI 9-11-11-31-2 @1.60V
750 watt Power Supply
Samsung SM951
GTX 960
Thanks
