Hello there
Please help me upgrade my laptop memory
I have a laptop , make : Lenovo, model : ThinkPad Edge E540 with currently 4Gb of DDR3L RAM installed by default. I would like to upgrade it to 16Gb. I am passionate about G-SKILL and eager to install this particular model : [Ripjaws SO-DIMM] F3-1600C9D-16GRSL. Its a dual channel 16Gb kit with CAS : 9-9-9-28.
I have the following queries :
1) Is this dual channel memory kit : F3-1600C9D-16GRSL compatible with my motherboard model : 20C6008QUS.
2) Is the dual channel memory kit: F3-1600C9D-16GRSL "UNBUFFERED" or "NOT REGISTERED"?
3) Can I mix this "single" channel memory module : [Ripjaws SO-DIMM] F3-1600C9S-8GRSL with my current RAM make and model is HYNIX, HMT451S6BFR8A-PB. This single module HMT451S6BFR8A-PB datasheet says its unbuffered.
4) Where can I find the datasheets for F3-1600C9D-16GRSL / RipJaws series.?
The URLs for datasheet of HMT451S6BFR8A-PB are as follows:
1) https://www.skhynix.com/inc/pdfDownl...Rev.1.0%29.pdf
