Hi everyone, I was wondering if it is possible to downclock my 2133mhz G Skill Snipers to 1866mhz and lower timing without raising voltages. I am aware the 8350 is not able to get to 2133mhz without overclocking, I just don't want to overclock anything. I do not know what timings to set/dram voltage in order to run at 1866mhz. And the sticks are rated for 1.6v, do I have to set it to 1.6v to get higher frequencies/lower timings? Thanks a lot you guys! My motherboard is able to handle up to 2133mhz with OC so I was hoping 1866 would be fine.

Yes, the higher the voltage, the better frequency and timings you can achieve.

Use the guide in the main DDR3 page to set up DDR3-1866

Timings can all be lowered by 1 number.
