Hey guys! So I have a dilemma here. I have the regular G.Skill Ripjaws 8GB RAM kit, @ 1600Mhz. I found some G.Skill Ripjaws X, with 8GB as well as 1600Mhz. I think you can mix the RAM, some people said it worked for them, but none had the exact mix of kits as mine. My motherboard is the Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 7, and according to the website, both kits are compatible, but I'm not sure about mixing. I will get a total of 16GB. My CPU is the Intel i7 4790k.
