I added a 4GB G.Skill F3-160011-4GSL stick to 4GB of Hyundai memory in a new Lenovo x140e laptop with an AMD A4-5000 processor. CPU-Z reports the SPD specs of the two sticks are identical. However, CPU-Z also reports the DRAM Frequency is reduced from 800 MHz to 665 MHz. Would this frequency drop occur with any two sticks installed or have I selected an incompatible pair?

Unfortunately, no.

Isn't it likely that the memory bus speed is degraded with the capacitance of two installed stick? Or is Lenovo playing games here?
