Usable memory

I have installed on the MSI mobo Gskill Sniper 4Gx2 DDR-2133 in slot 1 and 3.When I checked the RAM it tells me that I have 8 GB installed and 3.46 GB usable. Except for Win7 I have practically no SW installed. Why such a low usable memory?

Very strange, check to see what it shows in BIOS.

You can try re-installing Windows to see if it works better.

Thanks, I checked BIOS it tells me that I have 8192 MB of physical memory, DIMM slot 1 and 3.
