RAM Compatability

HP EliteBook 840 G1 Ultrabook - Intel Core i5, 4 GB DDR3 1600 204-Pin SO-DIMM with one slot open. I've read it will support up to 16GB RAM. I'd like to max it out RAM-wise.

I would like to know if G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 16GB (2 x 8G) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Laptop Memory Model F3-1600C9D-16GRSL would work with it? Any better suggestions of what I should use?

Most likely not, pre-built laptops usually only support standard RAM, which is DDR3-1600 CL11 or DDR3-1333 9-9-9-24. I suggest this kit:
