  • [Aegis] F3-1333C9D-8GISL + Gigabyte GA-P55-US3L

    Hello,

    I just replaced my memory [ECO] F3-10666CL9D-4GBECO with[Aegis] F3-1333C9D-8GISL.
    MB: GA-P55-US3L - Gigabyte, BIOS F7 (latest)
Proc: Intel Core i3 530 2.93 GHz BOX

BIOS Memory tests OK, but BIOS sees DDR's SPD Voltage as 1,5V, and cant see XMP profile.
Windows standard memory test OK, but Windows 7 is not loading.

XMP is not necessary because the RAM is within standard. The motherboard can recognize it without XMP.

First, I tryed with old BIOS (F1) and it failed with starting Win 7 Installation.
I upgraded BIOS to latest (F7). Starting Win 7 Installation fails.
I installed Win 7 just fine with old memory (ECO). Then after memory switch to new (AEGIS) Win 7 start fails...

BIOS recognize AEGIS SPD 1,5V instead of tech spec 1,35V and cant see it XMP profile. Manualy changing memory voltage to 1,3ish V or 1,44V doesnt help.

Did you test one stick at a time to see if maybe it is a bad stick?

BIOS doesnt start at all when I use sticks one by one...
With 2 sticks running pre Win7 load screen memory tests:
Basic says no errors, Extended stays at 21% forever (not freezes tho).

Contact the RMA dept. to exchange for a different kit to see if it works better.
