Windows 8.1 64 bit return wrong size of Memory (Asus M4A78LT-M LE Motherboard)

Hi,

i've bought 1 pair of Gskill F3-10600CL9D-8GBNT = 2X4Gb

but Windows 8.1 64 bit return 16Gb (with 7,78 usable).

I have Athlon X2 250 with Asus M4A78LT-M LE and last Bios(803).

Bios and Cpuz return right size

only Windows gone wrong

Why and how can i fix that ?

Something with OS may be sharing RAM capacity, so it should be fine. You can check in Task manager 'Performance' to see how much physical RAM is available and where it is being used.

Check in BIOS to see if there is a memory hole remapping or similar feature. Make sure it is enabled .

memory hole remapping is enabled,

in Task manager 'Performance' : 7.78 gb appears

embed graphic use 256 mo of ram

voila !
