I'm looking to upgrade my memory from 8GB DDR3 16000 Digital Storm to 16GB DDR3 G.Skill. It looks like the F3-2133C9D-16GTX would work with my ASUS P8P67 Deluxe, so I'm thinking it might be a good choice. I don't think my motherboard can handle anything over 2133. I'm not sure what I would get with default settings, or if I need to tweak it to get the best performance. Any suggestions?

What CPU are you using? That is actually the determining factor. The memory defaults to DDR3-1600, then you just need to enable XMP or manually input settings for the system to run at performance values.

Thanks for the input. I have an Intel I7 2600k 3.4Ghz Quad core. I bought the F3-2133C9D-16GTX and enabled XMP. It's running at 2133 with no problems.Comment
