  • 2x4GB won't work in Dell Latitiude E6410

I purchased F3-1333C9D-8GSL 2x4GB modules for my Dell Latitude E6410. I put both DIMMs in and they were recognized by the BIOS (the latest available A16). When I continue booting into Linux, it gets to a certain point and reboots, every time. I tried booting into Windows 7 and the same thing. I run the Dell Diagnostics and as it is running the memory tests, it reboots. I have removed and reseated the DIMMs and it always reboots the system. The old 2x2GB DIMMs work fine. When I put either one of the 4GB DIMMs in by itself, the system seems to work correctly.

Any ideas? These DIMMs are about to be returned.
    Thanks!

Try the G.Skill F3-10666CL9D-8GBSQ and it should work better.

    Thank you

I have the same issue with the same PC and the same modules.

Did you resolved your issue with the modules recommended by GSKILL TECH ?

      Thanks.
