  • Will More RAM Hurt Me or Help Me?

I recently built a rig that included G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL7D-8GBRH. Ive been wondering if I should upgrade to another 8GB of the same RAM. My system is pretty fast as it is, Im not a gamer just browse the Net, do some video editing. Should I upgrade or just leave well enough alone thanks. I forgot to add that I have a MSI A88X-G43 motherboard and Im running a AMD A10-7850K cpu.

If you don't experience any slow down or delay, then you may not need more RAM. During video editing, you can open Performance tab of Windows to see how much memory is used. At any time it is near 8GB, then you can consider an upgrade. Or if you would like to future proof the system, it is always best to do it as soon as possible.

      Thank you
