Hi I have a
Qosmio X505-Q896
It came with 4GB of DDR3 PC3-10666--- DDR3-1333.
I checked the 10666 vs the 10600 with cpu id and I did as was suggested on the thread below and I bought the 8gb F3-10666CL9D-8GBSQ

Seemed to work fine for about 2 months then I've been getting blue screens galore.
I did a total reimage of my computer with the original memory installed, did 200+ windows updates, drivers etc.. no blue screens. I put the newer ram back in and blue screens again. no software installed either just chrome and IE.
The majority of BSOD I get are "Memory_Management", but I've gotten "reference by pointer" "system service exception" and "bad poll caller"
I plan on RMAing with newegg and get a replacement unless someone has another suggestion. Old ram seems to be running fine but I'd like to have 8gb
