Looking for the best set-up as far as memory goes, 16 gigs or 32 gigs?

Iam building this one piece at a time.

Unless you want to game on virtual machines and take use of a RAM-disk, i'd say keep it at 2x8GB.

With you system you could use very high speed memory, but for gaming the impact of higher memory frequencies will not be that big. So probably get one of those and you should be fine:

Just max the capacity and you never have to worry about it.

You can create a RAMdisk or just have RAM available if you need it. Price is fair right now, but who knows in the future.
