  • RipJaws Z 32GB kit only 50% registering in BIOS Memory Detection

    I have the F3-2133C11Q-32GZL 32GB kit

    ASUS P8Z77 V Pro motherboard

    i7 2600K CPU

Yes I have looked at the older QVL list of ram supported, my ram is not on the list. however I have updated to the newest BIOS update, nothing changed

no over clocking at all, nothing

CPU Z can definitely see all 4 sticks at 32GB total, however BIOS and Windows does not.

    SLOTS 1/3 work at 16GB

    slots 2/4 will not work.

    all pins are un damaged.

all ram has been used and no sticks seem to be dead.

Im thinking a slightly bent CPU pin, or a dead CPU pin

This should be working fine and I want to overclock it to 2133MHZs

Clean the dimm slots and memory contacts. Maybe raise vdimm a little bit, that could help with some type of ICs.

If you only install two sticks in 2+4, does the board POST and boot into windows with 16gb?

Probably a silly question but what version of windows do you have? Win 7 home only supports 16 gb,

Any 2 modules will work fine in either set of slots but when all 4 modules together they will not?

            Thank you
