  • Blue screen when installing F3-17000cl11d-8gbxl

    Hi all

    i have bought (2 DIMM ) of F3-17000cl11d-8gbxl DDR3-2133 CL11-11-11-30 1.5v (4GB)
    motherboard: ASUS P-Z68-V
    proccessr i7-2600 3.4
    Power supply: gigabyt 500W
    no graphic card

the issue is i am unable to run both RAM in the same time, as far i am following the asus manual they recommanded to put bothe RAM in blue DIMM slots as in the picture

in the begining it was working fine in a short time many blue screens started to appear, and with it wont boot anymore, and now no screen dispaly anymore (i hear only the system runs but no dispaly in the monitor)

I checked the system with only one RAM and it worked fine, so if i install only one RAM it work fine but if install 2 RAM the issue appears. (bothe RAM that i bought work fine).
I also tried to install them in black slots but still wont work (system wont boot)

should I raise the voltage of the the ram through AI Suite (ASUS software) ? what should i do.

First question is will it work with both sticks by themselves? Meaning put in stick A, it boots, take out stick A, put in Stick B, it works? If it works like this, I reccomend boosting dram voltage to maybe 1.55v? 2133 is the upper limit of what that cpu can deliver (I think) so you may be better going for both sticks at 1866 mhz and 10-10-10-28 Timings.

If your set on trying for 2133 try raising the VICCO 2 or 3 ticks maybe (input the value next to it if its set to auto and hit + 2 or 3 times)
