F3-2400C10Q-32GTX and ASUS Rampage IV Extreme mb

I have recnetly built the following PC

ASUS Rampage IV Extreme mb
i7- 3970X
G.Skill TridentX F3-2400C10Q-32GTX (x2 total 64Gb)

The mb has not been overclocked.

My issue is the bios and windows show 48GB Ram, instead of 64GB Ram.

Checking the bios, all 8 DIMM slots show a 8 GB Ram module.

I have reseated the RAM. I have also tried to modules at a time, each time it would show the expected 16GB.

I would try to reseat the memory modules one by one and if that doesn't help, maybe even check the cpu socket for bent pins.

Look into this information on this motherboard. Basically, someone checked his CPU and found bent pins and reseated the CPU and solved the problem. Memory type was Corsair Dominator though.
