  • Trying to get the most out of my memory.

I ran CPU-Z and noticed my memory was performing less than it could be, and I'd like to get the most I can out of it but the manual configuration confuses me.

    Motherboard: ASUS M3N72-D
    Memory: F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK
    CPU: AMD Phenom X4 9750

My motherboard can support 5-5-5-15 1066, but CPU-Z said they're running at the following:

    Code:
    DC Mode: Ganged
    NB Frequency: 1800 MHz
    DRAM Frequency: 400 MHz
    FSB:DRAM: 1:2

    CL: 5
    tRCD: 5
    tRP: 5
    tRAS: 18
    tRC: 24
    CR: 2T
I took a look at the settings in the BIOS and everything is set to Auto. Can anyone help me configure the settings so I can go the most I can out of them? Here's a picture of the available options: link

    DRAM Frequency should be 533MHz.

Make sure DRAM Voltage is 2.10V

    Thank you

Ok, I did that (the voltage only gave me options and the closest one was 2.08) and now CPU-Z says my DRAM Frequency went from 400 to 266.7. It's now running at:

      Code:
      DC Mode: Ganged
      NB Frequency: 1800 MHz
      DRAM Frequency: 266.7 MHz
      FSB:DRAM: 3:4

      CL: 5
      tRCD: 4
      tRP: 4
      tRAS: 18
      tRC: 16
      CR: 2T
      Did it get worse?
