Hi,

I just upgraded to 8GB of ram from 4GB, running memtest displays the new ram as F2-6400CL4.

History: purchased F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK 2 years ago - this is the ram I have been running.
New F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK purchased last week.

Memtest:
Original 2 x F2-8500 displaying as F2-8500CL5
New 2 x F2-8500 displaying as F2-6400CL4

Motherboard:
Asus P5Q Pro

Is there a problem with the new ram that it is displaying as F2-6400CL4

No, as long as it can also reach the announced DDR2-1066 5-5-5-15. It may just be an error by whoever was installing the SPD.
