Model of the motherboard: P5N-T Deluxe
Model of the memory: F2-6400CL4D 4gbpk (2x2gb)
Model of the CPU: Intel Quad Core Q6600

My computer can sometimes successfully boot and POST.
When entering the BIOS it would randomly freeze, forcing me to restart.

I'm looking for the appropriate settings for use with this board as ASUS tech support said it's the board that's finnicky with the RAM.

The current settings I tried were..

Timing: 4-4-4-12
Clock: 2T
Voltage: 1.99v - 2.1v

Please help as I've bought this set of RAM just to work with the board.

Any overclocking on the FSB or CPU or is everything at BIOS default settings?

no over clocking what so ever.


Yes - i've tried everything on AUTO.. as well as manually set everything to the specs of the RAM.

Still no luck.

do you know what memory divider and strap you're using?

Test one stick at a time to see if one is defective causing the problem. Also, what slots do you have them installed in?
