  • P5E Deluxe and F2-9600CL5D-4GBTD at a frequency of 1200 MHz

Prompt please compatible motherboard ASUS P5E Deluxe X48 with memory "Desktop Memory> DDR2> [Trident] F2-9600CL5D-4GBTD (2Gx2)". How do I know this memory F2-9600CL5D-4GBTD were not tested for compatibility with the ASUS P5E Deluxe X48. Will this memory work in normal mode at a frequency of 1200 MHz?
    Thank you.

Although your particular board wasn't tested and qualified with this memory kit, there shouldn't be any reason to worry. There isn't any way that a memory mfg. can test every single board released to market for compatibility with every memory kit they make.

As long as your buying for the correct platform (i.e. DDR, DDR2 DDR3 etc.) generally you're in good shape as long as your motherboard supports the specified memory voltage and specified memory speed.

The memory standard for the P5E Deluxe is DDR2 1066, but it does support DDR2 1200 via overclock.

For the motherboard ASUS P5E Deluxe X48 DDR2 prescribed frequency 1066/1200 MHz standard CL 5-5-5-15 voltage: 1.8v, which corresponds to the description of memory F2-9600CL5D-4GBTD (2Gx2) "

          Eugene,

This shouldn't be a huge undertaking and if you haven't - just go ahead and place the order.

When your new memory arrives power down your computer, clear the cmos, remove the old memory and replace with the new.

Power back up, enter BIOS and load factory defaults. Reboot.

Should have no problems at all. What CPU do you plan on using? You may need to overclock CPU FSB for optimum performance.

Good day. The question is not about me but very exciting. How do I check this in my memory Desktop Memory> DDR2> [Trident] F2-9600CL5D-4GBTD (2Gx2) or is it fake? The fact is that already seen fake Kingston and it is no different only the frequency of the statement does not give 1066 and printing on the label a little worse. As a visual or software methods that can be verified. This memory P5E Deluxe and F2-9600CL5D-4GBTD at a frequency of 1200 MHz does not allow for P5E Deluxe and P5Q Deluxe. Maximum of 1111 MHz on P5Q Deluxe.

In CPU-z, the memory model should show as F2-9600CL5-2GBTD made by G.Skill.

                Thank you
