Greetings,

I've been running the above configuration with 4GB of RAM along with the AMD Phenom Quad-core 9600 for a couple of years with flawless performance. I have decided to finally upgrade to 8GB using 4 2GB sticks in this same system. What do I need to do to get the best performance in this system.

Your CPU will not support 8GB at DDR2-1066, so you will need to reduce to DDR2-800, 4-4-4-12 timings, 2.0V and this should be your fastest configuration.
