  • compatability? F2-9600CL6D-4GBRH Ripjaws and GA-Ma785GM-US2H

Well instead of buying another Mobo and ddr3 ram. i want to F2-9600CL6D-4GBRH (1200mhz Ripjaws) Throw these in my Current Mobo GA-MA785GM-US2H (AM2+) Which supports 1200mhz OC
well i have Gskill in this Mobo right now but i know they can be somewhat temperamental on certain mobos and what not.
well i want to know if you all would help me get these running at 1200hmz when i purchase 2 of these and run 8gigs, i just don't want to buy them and watch it become incompatible,
my current 1066 ram would give me errors BSOD when playing games. so that's why i want to do different ram now to see if i can get a performance gain.
    My CPU is a AMD Phenom II X2 550 unlocked to a AMD Phenom II X4 B50 @ 3.4ghz << thats stable
4gb ram Gskill 1066 << when clocked to 1066 it would Give BSOD in my win 7 64bit
    750gb WD hdd
    1tb WD hdd
    Sapphire 5770 1gb
    GA-MA785GM-US2H <<< on latest Bios F11
    on a 22" screen 1680 X 1050
so i would like to get this ram but not willing to blow $250 on ram that wont work to its fullest.

    thank you

8GB may not operate at the full DDR2-1200. DDR2-1200 (oc) is only for 2 sticks. So what you may need to do is run them at a lower frequency, but tighten the timings for max performance.

For this motherboard and CPU, anything DDR2-1066 or more will require CPU-NB Voltage +0.1V and NB Frequency x11 2200MHz.

    Thank you
