    Hi,

I am trying to get a stable Windows 7 Home edition.
Yesterday, my PC was stable under Windows XP with 2x1Gb F2-6400CL4D-4GBPK. All parameters under BIOS (Motherboard P5N-E SLI) were set to default (AUTO).

This morning, i bought 2x 2Gb F2-6400CL4D-4GBPK and tried to install Windows 7.

    I can't get a stable PC.

Setup 1: When set to default with 1Gb in slot A1 and B1 RAMs lots, and 2Gb in slot A2 and B2, the computer starts and show 6Gb. Then it crash with several type of blue Screens.

Setup 2 :When set up to default with 2Gb in slot A1 and B1 RAMs lots, and 1 Gb in slot A2 and B2, i got a long Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiip. Never stopping.

I tried to put 4-4-4-12 and 2 oclock. That did nothing whichever setup i have.
I tried to change the RAM voltage to a value between 2 and 2.1 Volts. With setup 1, Windows starts but a blue screen occurs during the start of Windows or after...

When i use only the 1 Gb, everything seems fine.
When i use only the 2 Gb, i got blue screens, but if i a set the RAM Voltage between 2 and 2.1... i think.

Why cant i use the 4 DDR2 together. What is the good setup ?
I read on the 1Gb : CL4-4-4-12 1.9V-2.0V. Are the voltages of 1Gb and 2Gb RAMS compatibles ???? I choose them because of their same serial number...

    Thanks,

You need to raise NB Voltage to 1.40V. The memory controller does not have enough power to support all 4 modules.

For memory settings, simply use 4-4-4-12 2.0V.

    Thank you
