  • F2-9600cl5d-4gbpi Issue

    I have the (F2-9600CL5D-4GBPI) (DDR2-1200 PC2-9600) (2048MB x 2) (CL5-5-5-15 2.1V).
And cant get it running at 1200mhz. Currently at 800mhz tried to set the ram to 1066mhz and is unstable.

    Heres my specs

Mother Board: M4N82 Deluxe (Asus 980a SLI)
    BIOS: 1901
    REV: 2.0
    CPU:AMD Phenom II x4 965 3.4Ghz @ 4.0Ghz 1.4375V
    Socket: AM3

Do you have them installed in seperate channels (different color slots)? You may need to oc northbridge, increase CPU-NB and HT Voltages to reach DDR2-1066+.

    Thank you

No i have the setup in the dual channel state Both in the same colors.

So my board only supports 1stick in each color?

And can you recommend the cpu-nb and ht voltages max volts so i dont go over it and damage the ram or board.
      First time messing with them.

For DDR2-800+, it is only supported in different color slots.

        Please try the following settings:

        AI Overclocking - Manual
        DRAM Frequency Control - Manual
        DRAM Frequency - 1066
        CPU/NB Frequency - 2200
HT Link Speed - (What values do you have for this?)

        Memory Configuration (submenu)
        DCT Unganged Mode - Enabled
        Power Down Enable - Disabled

        DRAM Timing Configuration (submenu)
        DRAM Command Rate - 2
        DRAM Timing Mode - Both
        DCT0:
        TCL - 5 CLK
        TRCD - 5 CLK
        TRP - 5 CLK
        TRTP - 5 CLK
        TRAS - 15 CLK
        TWR - 8 CLK

        TRFC0 - 127.5
        TRFC1 - 127.5

        DCT1:
Enter same values as above if using these slots, or if operating full slots.

        CPU-NB Voltage - +0.1V
        DRAM Voltage - 2.1V
        HT Voltage - 1.4V
        NB Voltage - 1.2V

Keep me posted on the results.
