Well I have been playing with these sticks for a few days now and have been able to achieve 1000MHz @5-5-5-15 2T @1.9v on EP45-UD3P. Will run a memtest tonight when I go to bed.

Ratio is at a 5:6 with Q9550 2.83 @ 3.544 MHZ (417x8.5)

Question is, is the ratio that far out of line with the 1:1 theory?

Update- Memtest v 4.0 --10 hours 0 errors

No, 1:1 is not necessary. Your current setup looks great.
