  • F2-5400CL3D-2GBGA Causing no monitor signal

    Hi,

I built a new pc just over a year ago using this ram, i hadn't had any problems until a month ago when sometimes the monitor would say no signal when booting up the pc.

Switching off and back on fixed that, however recently it stopped detecting a signal completely. I found that removing one of the ram modules fixed the problem (apart from windows wants reactivating).

I can put the memory module that works in either dimm slot (my motherboard has 2) and there is no problem. If i try adding the other which i suspect is faulty i get the problem, same if i try just that module on its own.

Does this sound like memory module is faulty?

Yes, go ahead and return it for a new replacement.

    Thank you
