  • 4 sticks of F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK and ASUS P5Q-E

    MB: ASUS P5Q-E, Bios 2101
    DRAM: F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK (2 kits)
    CPU: Core 2 Duo E8500 (L0)

When i install only 2 sticks (from one kit) in slots 1 and 2 - work is fine and stable
if i install all 4 skicks or install same modules example in slots 1 and 3 - bios no boot
also, if install one stick in slot 3 or 4 - i have the same problem

i read about up NB Voltage to 1.4V per 4 sticks for ASUS M4A78T-E, but it doesn't explain the problem, when the memory is located in slots 1 and 3

Do it will help and is safe for my motherboard?

What additional settings and recomendations, except for NB and DRAM voltage can advise?

    Any idea?

    Thank you

Have you tried the other two sticks in slot 1 and 3? Try testing each stick in slot 1 to make sure they are all working properly. You may have a bad stick causing you the issues. Keep us posted on the results and we will be able to further assist you.

    Thank you

This problem was been with my MB
I got another memory sticks and detect problem with memory channel B on MB
I sent MB to service, and service admit defective this MB

Some MB doesn't in stock and i buyed P5Q Deluxe, with it all 4 sticks of G.Skill memory work fine
