This computer had 2x1gb sticks installed and 32 bit Windows 10 operating system, I purchased two F2-5300CL4D-4GBPQ sticks to up the memory to 4gb. When I went to HP's web site to insure they would work before installing them I found this out:
. Supports 2GB DDR2 DIMMs.
. Supports up to 4 GB* on 32 bit PCs (using two 2 GB DIMMs).
. 32 bit PCs cannot address a full 4.0 GB of memory.
Will it effect the performance of the memory if I install this in my system ?
Should I just stick with 2gb ?
Should I install a 1gb and one 2gb stick ?
