If you give me your email I can send you pics of my BIOS which is running stable on Windows XP which may help your problems. I originally had a faulty 2GB RAM chip which caused the BSOD as you mentioned. Try one RAM chip than the other on it's own. If you have the exact motherboard and the F2-8500CL5D-4GBTD Memory Kit following the BIOS settings I have should work for you unless Windows 7 needs different settings?

If I was to try and run these at 1200 what would I need to change in the BIOS?

Also with the RAM running at 1066 or 1200 how can I set my Core 2 Duo 6600 to maximise itself . I am not sure if it's running at it's best setting in the BIOS.

Had a look at the pictures rsmdrel and got everything right, but still unstable.

If someone could refer to post #44 that would be great, it's the current problem I'm having still.

Seems strange - Have you tried running just one RAM chip? Is it still unstable? Try the other one.
See if you have probs on its own. Might be RAM issues?

Refer to about post number 19 and before. Did you receive my email re: BIOS settings for 1200 speed?

Just not sure if settings are correct?

JordTehPwneR, you may have a bad set. What are the default Advanced Timings values? List them or post up screen shots so I can see if the motherboard is picking everything up properly.

Regarding the memtest 4.5+GB issue, I'm not too sure, but it may be a sign that you have a bad stick.

rsmrdel, you have the DDR2-1066 version, so you will need to slowly increase the the CPU Host Clock and voltages until it is stable. Right now it is set to 266, I would set memory voltage to 2.1V, then slightly increase to 270, 275, until it is unstable. You will need to relax your timings as well to ensure that you have the max OC. It takes a lot of time, trial and error.

Im already on my second kit, as the first kit wouldnt let me boot because it wasnt set up right. It's VERY unlikely to get 2 bad kits in a row, isn't it?
