Hi! I am trying to get this memory to run on the above mentioned board. I can get into the BIOS and goto boot with just one stick(It sees it only at 800Mhz),when both sticks are in(still see it as 800Mhz)but the system just hangs any suggestions,Should I just return the memory to newegg for 800 Memory. I was trying to avoid this seeing as newegg wants to charge me a re-stocking fee. Thanks for your help!

hmm, the memory latencies are too low. 1 stick they will sure run, but on dual-channel the latencies are detected too low to be run. Usually hang is caused by either BIOS defaulting 1T Refresh rate to chip OR performance level being too low/highspeed. Also when you add the sticks I'd suggest using slots A1 and B1 or A2 and B2.. not side-by-side since then those sticks are on different controllers (which is good).

Check on one stick BIOS that these are there:

    CL5-5-5-15
and the tRFC (Row Cycle Time) is at 52 and Perfomance Level +1t from what ever it sets at auto mode (Or AI booster -1t)
reboot and add the second stick in

Anyway, for more tweaking or how to general set the latencies here's one forum I use:
    http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=177713
(Now those screenshots, if you scroll down are mostly ALL overclocked, but you get the idea what these chips can/should be able to do.)
