  • F4-4000c15q-32gtzr and MSI X299 Pro problem with xmp

    Hello,
After enabling xmp ram becomes unstable, manual setting to 4000mhz gives the same result. Windows boots but after starting eg occt or prime 95 I have bsod, the same goes for games. When I set it to 3800Mhz, CL 15, 16, 16, 36, 1,5V everything runs smoothly.
    CPU i9 10980xe stock settings.
Is there a way for this set to work at 4000Mhz?

Have you tried boosting VCCSA Voltage? Set a slightly higher value than what it is at DDR4-3800 to see if you can force stability.

      Yes, I tried from 1.1V to 1.4V.
At 3800 VCCSA is set to auto 0.9V.

Are you using the latest BIOS? Can one module reach DDR4-4000?

I'm using the latest bios. I tried with one and two modules, it's ok. With 3 modules the problem returns.

May be the limit for 3+ modules if increasing CPU VCCSA Voltage provides no improvement at all.
