    Hello all,
    After upgrading my CPU from an i5-10600KF to i9-11900KF (so from 10th gen to 11th gen), I am no longer able to enable XMP@3200. Before the CPU upgrade it was possible to select XMP (Profile 1) in the BIOS of my motherboard (Gigabyte Aorus z490 Pro AX) and reach the rated maximum speed of my G.Skill memory sticks.

    Nothing else has changed in the configuration, only the CPU.The computer will no go past POST. After some trial and error I was finally able to reach 3,066 MHz but for that I had to select GEAR2 and set VCCIO to 1.10V, VCCSA to 1.15V, and DRAM to 1.35V. Selecting any freq beyond 3,066 will result in the computer failing to boot.

    My setup is fairly simple and I believe I am within specs for full compatibility so I should be able to reach 3200 MHz:- Aorus Z490 pro AX with BIOS F22 (latest)- Optimal default BIOS settings- Aorus GeForce RTX™ 3070 Ti MASTER 8G- G.Skill DDR4 3200 Trident Z 32GTZR

    Can anyone help me with the settings to reach the full potential of my memory modules? Is it normal to have different results with XMP simply by changing the CPU?

    Try one module at a time to see if there is any difference between the two sticks, and whether both can reach DDR4-3200. Load BIOS defaults, enable XMP Profile, then try again.

    Did you populate slots two and four away from the CPU?
