    Hello,
    I recently installed the TridentZ RGB Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 4000 (PC4 32000) F4-4000C15D-32GTZR in my Asus Rog Strix z490 F-Gaming Motherboard. LGA1200

    This ram runs at 4000Mhz CL15-16-16-36 at 1.5v standard.

    What is the maximum voltage thats safe for overclocking? I am able to run this without any problems using XMP, but in order to squeeze any more out I need to go over 1.5v.

    (In case you need to know
    i7-10700k locked at 5.2Ghz all-cores at 1.4v
    Ring is set to 5.0Ghz but not forced.
    Corsair RM1000i PSU

    As long as the Voltage is used, the system is stable, and temperatures are within range, higher DRAM Voltage is fine.

      That’s good to know, thank you! I am good with CPU and GPU over clocking, but I’m still very new to overclocking RAM.

      with these particular sticks, what voltage increase would typically be needed to go up to, say 4200Mhz and 4400 MHz if timings were left standard?

      I can do the math on MHz compared to cas latency to determine what the fastest combo of frequency and CL is, but if I tried with the timings left stock for 4000mhz 15-16-16-36, what would the voltages typically need to be increased to, to run at 4200 and 4400mhz?

      Also what is a comfortable max temperature to set for these when running at higher than standard voltages?
