Trident DDR3 2400 best 1600 timings for Phenom II 1100T
Typical timings for kits like that at 1600 are 7-8-8-24. You also shouldn't have trouble running a command rate of 1T. A slight voltage bump might be required, esp if you also tighten the secondaries.
With AM3 the reference clock can be overclocked relatively freely, which allows for higher memory frequencies. However the Thuban memory controller tends to max out between DDR3-1800/2000 (YMMV). At 1800/1866 try 8-9-9-24 1T or 7-9-9-24 1T with a bit more voltage.
The old Thuban guides might be helpful if you never overclocked via reference clock before. Just an example:

thank you for that.
Is there any other things I can set like d row cycle time?
Tjis is a screen shot of my old ripjaws ram I had at 1333.
If you are wondering, I'm still using windows 7 and I will never upgrade I dislike to m$ spying and backdoors and especially the cpu back doors
I have a 8350 but I swapped out a 1100T because it still has 3dnow and all my games and stuff I have runs better with it. Boot time is faster than the 8350 and windows pop open faster, less lag overall for sure. Yes the benchmarks are not as good but the real world stuff is faster, its weird.
So I'm just trying to touch it up a bit with the timings.
board is a sabertooth 990fx I been running for 13 years now 24/7
even my velociraptor is still kicking. I run 850 pro 1tb for os and games though
At 1600 set 7-8-8-21(24)-4(5)-4-4(5)-6(7)-10-160-29(32)-5-AUTO-AUTO-AUTO-AUTO-1T(2T).
( ) = backups, in case of boot issues or instabilities. Raising memory voltage instead, might also help.
Depending upon the IC type on your modules, you might also have to up the tRFC to 300, since most 4Gbit ICs naturally require higher values and some can't handle values that low. The AMD platform does not allow values between 160 and 300, which is why 8GB modules esp at higher frequencies loose some performance vs lower density ones.
Thanks I gave up on running the 1100T. I forgot the scheduling updates I installed for the 8350 and I was going to restore a backup from 2017 when I was still running a 1090T but its just been way too long and all the tweaks and registry hacks I've done since then I cant even remember what I did since then and it would be too much work to transplant all my browser profiles and the games I have would have to be reinstalled so I put the 8350 back it.
It ticks me off because it was faster with the 1100T than the 8350. Even the boot time was faster, windows just popped open quicker, the mouse felt easier to control but its just been too long since then to be worth it.
So I put my ram back to where I been running it, 9-11-11-31 at 2133.
I tried 11-13-13-31 at 2400 but the benchmark went down if anything.
