  • Overclock F4-3200C16D-32GTZN in a X570 system

    Hi,

I would like to overclock my F4-3600C16D-16GTZNC x 2, because I want to fully utilize every single clock. This is my full system: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/b23Wdm .

I would like to have your opining regarding the right timings that I shall use and any other hints to overclock my DRAM. I downloaded the DRAM calculator for Ryzen and using 2 PCB Versions, I attached the results to this post. I also attached to this post the details of my DRAM.

Thank you for stopping by and looking forward to talking to you guys.

    Cheers

Your screenshots show F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC instead of F4-3200C16D-32GTZN.

A2/B2 layout is correct for RGB models like the Neo.

Nice catch :-). This is what I ordered F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC . I am assuming that because there are 2x 16GB SIMMS each one has the following part number (F4-3600C16D-16GTZNC). Unless I am wrong and both SIMMS shall be F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC = 32GB. I included a picture of the original package showing F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC.

I attached some additional snapshots to show the details using CPU-Z and memory manager.

F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC part number of the kit (2x16GB).
        F4-3600C16-16GTZNC part number of a module (16GB), that is part of either F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC (2x) or F4-3600C16Q-64GTZNC (4x).

        So everything is ok.

        F4-3600C16D-16GTZNC (2x8GB) does consist of two F4-3600C16-8GTZNC (8GB) instead.

Thank you for clarifying! BTW Can I use the timings provided by DRAM calculator for the A2/B2 as they are or do you recommend any changes to those parameters?

You can try them, just be aware that those presets are not guaranteed to work. They are mostly based on results from tests with other similar kits. Since no two systems are exactly the same, it can be necessary to adjust a couple of things for stability.

I would otherwise recommend to go the full manual route instead:

            https://github.com/integralfx/MemTes...0OC%20Guide.md

In the end it'll usually give better results, esp if done properly.
