  • It works incorrectly - G.SKILL Trident Z5 32GB (2x16GB) 7600MHz

Hello everyone, I decided to buy a fast DDR5 with a frequency of 7600 MHz, but unfortunately it does not want to work normally via XMP, in games there are freezes that you have to turn off the computer from the network, in Sony Vegas programs it freezes instantly when processing video, during OSCT tests and other similar programs for testing DDR5 there are errors.
Today I use the DDR5 6800 MHz mode, where it more or less works correctly, but the timings are worse there.
Having given it to the warranty where they performed tests and said that DDR5 works at a frequency of 4800 MHz and the rest the warranty department does not care and returned it to me back although it should work from the factory at a frequency of 7600 MHz.
I tried testing in slots in different slots but it only works in A2 - B2 as it should be, swapping them around does not help. Tell a newbie what to do in this situation ??? Thank you very much.

    CPU Type : Intel Core i9-14900K, 5700 MHz (57 x 100)
Motherboard Name : Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX DDR5
    Memory : G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB PC Memory DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 7600MHz CL36

For the XMP to work at full speed, a compatible motherboard is required. G.SKILL is very transparent about it and lists them directly on the product pages, in the QVL tab.

So unless your board is on there, you probably have to at least dial down memory frequency a bit. In some cases other adjustments might be needed. How far down you have to go, for the most part depends upon your specific motherboard (and CPU). It basically is more of a motherboard capability than a memory issue.

The other option would be to replace either the motherboard or the memory with a compatible one. For the latter, a look at the memory configurator could be helpful.

Yes but,the motherboard manufacturer says the opposite, that the declared memory is suitable. Based on this data, I chose this DDR5
