Is there any cpu cooler that will allow room for 4 sticks (16GB) of RipjawsX F3-10666CL7D on a P8P67 WS Revolution (LGA1155)? The memory is 40mm high. The coolers typically sit about 37mm up. How is that supposed to work? I did not anticipate that finding a cooler would be the most complicated part of this build.

No, it's not, most will clear just fine. Thermalright Ultra 120, True Black, Prolimatech Megahalem, search the forum and you can find others people have used.

Is it allowable to have the RAM fin touching the bottom fin of the cpu cooler? The Prolimatech Megahalems has a listed 40mm clearance ...same as the RipjawsX listed height. So if all specs are absolutely perfect it should work, right?Comment

Yes, don't forget the memory will sink in to some of the memory slot, so it will not be that tall/tight.
